Cynthia is a very experienced, highly dedicated and energetic teacher. She was able to boost my son's grade within a week using all kind of memory boosters. She is excellent at teaching Spanish. We are so glad we found her and plan to keep her for the next few years until high school graduation.

Dolores S. from Dallas, TX

I am so impressed with Cynthia. She not only is extremely good at teaching Spanish but she is very organized and comes prepared for each and every lesson. Prior to leaving each session she peruses the next chapter coming up so that she can bring relevant materials to the next session. She is such a delight to work with and she is so patient with my ADD son. He enjoys working with her and has recommended her to others. We feel very fortunate to have found her!

Mark B. from Addison, TX

I find Cynthia to be very well organized and very well prepared. She knows what she wants to accomplish with the lesson and knows how to get to that point. She put a lot of information out there during the first class and was patient with us as we tried to understand and learn the points she was trying to teach. I feel she has been an excellent choice for our company.

Cynthia is a fabulous tutor. My son was struggling with Spanish before she walked into his life. She is always on time, very organized, and always replies promptly to texts and emails. She has taught Spanish at various levels (Ms to high school to college). She knew the text that my son was using (Vistas). She even comes prepared with paper for notes. A wonderful teacher! I would recommend her if you are struggling with Spanish in school or work.

Tracie L. from Forney, TX

My 17 yr old son has struggled in Spanish II all year and it had taken a huge chunk out of his self esteem and his GPA. He has tutored with his teacher all year with no change to his understanding. Just after the first session with Cynthia H. he has made huge improvements. She tutored him on Monday evening and he had a quiz on Thursday and a test on Friday of the same week. I am proud to say he passed his quiz and his test. When I asked my son what does he think made the difference he said "my tutor" with a big smile on his face! He has worked with Cynthia for 3 weeks now and has brought his grade by five points. Tests and quizzes are 63% of the grade so improving his test grades have made a huge difference. We have seen such a relief in our son and a gain in his self esteem. We are beyond thrilled we found Cynthia!

Cynthia has a uncanny ability to break down lessons to help me understand the material. I was impressed with her level of preparation for each session. She comes ready to target the areas that are needed with a variety of reading and writing material. I also appreciate her ability to incorporate different styles of learning. Cynthia created visual representations through charts as well as movements to help me grasp the grammatical rules that I had been struggling with. She is a funny and witty tutor that will keep tutoring lessons engaging and meaningful. Glad to have found a dedicated and professional tutor to help me learn to write Spanish.

Michael M. from Dallas, TX

I have been working with Cynthia for about a month, and I am very pleased with the progress that we have made so far. Cynthia is bright, professional and dedicated. All of these traits make her a great instructor. Cynthia not only possesses the important traits that I previously listed, but she is also a great listener. She listens to the questions that I ask as a student and she does her best to give me clear and helpful answers. If you are looking for a top-notch Spanish instructor who truly cares about her students, I highly recommend Cynthia.

Cynthia started working with my two kids last September. I have been amazed how she was able to teach so many things in a highly engaging manner. My son is not an easy student (5 years old) and can not sit quiet and focused. Cynthia has been extremely patient, and at the same time, kept finding creative ways to keep my son engaged. My son and daughter love taking Spanish lessons because they are a source of a lot of fun and learning for them. I think Cynthia is a very unique tutor. She is not the kind of person who follows her agenda firmly for the lesson; she goes with the flow and masterfully accomplishes learning objectives. She is always well prepared and professional. I would highly highly recommend Cynthia as a Spanish tutor. We will miss her.

Cynthia is a fantastic tutor. She instills confidence in her students by using multiple teaching tools to gain understanding of difficult concepts. She discovers what interests her students, then finds ways to incorporate these interests into her teaching. Our student went from being insecure with a complete lack of confidence in Spanish to now being a Spanish tutor at her school! While we are excited our student's grades have improved, we most value the fact that our student now believes she has an aptitude for foreign languages and is eager to learn. We have Cynthia to thank for this significant turnaround. We highly recommend Cynthia!

Monica G. from Plano, TX

We have used Cynthia for my daughter's Spanish tutoring for about 6 weeks now and only have good things to say about her. This past week, they worked on a school project together and my daughter felt very prepared for it. Cynthia is always on time for the sessions and doesn't waste any time getting to work. I plan on utilizing her for long term tutoring and give my highest recommendation.

My 15-year old desperately needed help with his 2nd year Spanish course. Cynthia H. was very helpful and accommodating; she even traveled to a location that was convenient for my son to meet during the day. He was very happy with his session with this tutor and I would definitely recommend her to any student needing help in this subject. Thank you once again for a wonderful session!

Leslie S. from Arlington, VA

My son is having fun, while learning his Spanish! Cynthia comes up with fun ways to review the coursework. She is helping him find ways to learn, memorize, and master the material.

Ann G. from Arlington, VA

Cynthia clearly loves the Spanish language, and she is creative in presenting the concepts in ways that are easy to remember. She comes well-prepared with her own materials that she uses to supplement and reinforce what the student is learning. Cynthia is very patient and is excellent at explaining grammar and usage, as well as relating new material to what the student already knows. She is also a very nice person. We would recommend Cynthia without reservation.

Bridget K. from Alexandria, VA

We were extremely pleased with Cynthia's first visit with our 12 year old daughter who is taking her first year of Spanish. She brought training materials that were very helpful and taught our daughter techniques to help her memorize Spanish words and meanings . She is great with kids. She had our daughter laughing as she was learning. Our daughter said she really enjoyed working with Cynthia and she was very helpful. Cynthia has a very impressive resume of teaching Spanish and we are grateful to have her helping our daughter.
