Bilingual in French and majored in French.
I grew up in a bilingual home. French is the first language I learned, thanks to my French mother, who taught me the language when I was little. As a child, I traveled to France every couple of years to visit relatives. Every other year, my maternal grandparents came to the United States to visit us. I majored in French at the University of Michigan and taught French and Spanish for the Detroit Public Schools. Currently, I teach French for the Ann Arbor Senior Center....
