I have been working in the medical imaging field for around 15 years mainly developing complex algorithms for advanced applications. In addition, I have been coaching several Science Olympiad (elementary school level) events for a local school district. One of my main reasons to attend the University of Michigan (Bioengineering) PhD program was to become a professor, and after years of working in the industry, I am looking forward to branching out again into education....
