I began pursuing my D.V.M. degree at the Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine after graduating from Eastern Michigan University in 2012 with a degree in Biology. Following my first year of vet school I decided to take some time off to study advanced Mandarin Chinese at Tsinghua University in Beijing with other Mandarin speaking students from around the world.
