My philosophy when it comes to education is to engage students so that they want to learn. While teaching or tutoring I try to make the lesson fun and connect it to the student in some way. An socioeconomically challenged student will not learn the lesson if I use examples of wealthy individuals for they will not be able to relate to the situations presented.
