I have worked with students who have ADD/ADHD in the past and help them to focus on the task at hand so that they are able to set a goal and complete it, which will help overall performance and outcome on any given assignment. I have also taken Education courses on the subject and understand the nature of this disorder very well. Having a disorder does not mean you are doomed as a student; it is simply a challenge that can be overcome with encouragement, dedication to overcoming the obstacle, and taking in compassion from self and others.
