Special Education Teacher-Wide Variety of skills/levels

I have been around education all of my life. My parents live on an air force base and are both teachers there. My sister is also a special education teacher in the military system. I have an undergraduate degree in psychology and my masters in special education. I have been an aide, tutor or teacher for students ranging from kindergarten to college age. My degree and experience in special education has given me the training to teach all grade levels, all subjects, and all skill levels....

ADD/ADHD

My master's degree in special education has exposed me to a wide variety of needs students may have. One of these needs is a child with ADD/ADHD. Through my personal education, I have learned many methods and ideas to address the needs of a child with ADD/ADHD so that they are learning at their fullest potential. I have learned a variety of methods to keep them busy while learning. I have also had students in my classroom with ADD/ADHD and have adapted my curriculum to create a learning environment fit for them.
