I have a BA in biology. I have experience in tutoring biology and chemistry at the college and high school levels. I have tutored students with special needs as the Learning Center Assistant at Lake Erie College. Also, my math skills are very good. I have worked as a chemistry technician and as a microbiologist. My daughter was about to take her midterm for her AP Biology class when she and Maureen first met for a tutoring session. She explained to Maureen that she didn't know much, and Maureen was patient and helpful and was able to help my daughter pass her midterm and improve greatly in the class. With Maureen's help every week from midterm week to the end of the year, my daughter was able to get a 4 on the AP Bio exam. (Which is out of a 1-5 scale, 5 being very qualified for credit and 1 being not recommended to get credit.) Maureen is understanding and very intelligent, and can bring a new perspective to the table to help anyone understand otherwise complicated things.
