Mark easily connects with my daughters, encourages them and leads them through each lesson. He does not give them answers but helps them utilize deduction skills to apply what they know to figure out what each following step might be. When they are "stuck", he asks them questions related to the problem area until they find a known point to start from and work forward. The girls consistently say if they go ahead and review their upcoming geometry chapters with Mark, they can better understand what is taught in class. Their grades and confidence have improved since Mark has been tutoring them.
