My daughter has been fortunate to work with several excellent Wyzant tutors over the years, but this semester we hit the jackpot! Catharine S. agreed to tutor my daughter to prepare her for several Praxis II exams for her Elementary Education certification. Catharine's teaching experience has definitely played a key role in her effectiveness, but it is all the "extra" preparation time that she does on her own time to find ways to present the information in the most effective manner for my daughter that takes her over the top! Catharine has used all the materials my daughter had purchased such as ebook study guides, flash cards, online tests and helped her get the maximum benefit from those study tools. The personal interest that Catharine has shown in my daughter's success has helped tremendously to increase my daughter's confidence in her ability to pass these tests. She still has several tests ahead of her, but I feel confident that as long as Catharine is her tutor that she will be successful. Catharine has the perfect blend of knowledge, empathy and humor that enables her to relate to her students in such an effective way. My daughter and I feel very lucky to have found her.
