My son's least favorite subject has always been math, and his grade reflected his level of interest. I wanted to find a tutor who would personally connect with my son and help change his opinion about math - a core subject. Katharine was prompt and attentive during our first session. She quietly redirected my son's work and managed to get an assignment that would normally take him 3 days to complete, done in 1 hour. My son left the tutoring session excited about math and ready to return for additional tutoring. My goal is for him to gain personal confidence in his math skills, and I think that Katharine has what it takes to help him accomplish that goal.

My daughter is in Junior High (7th) and science is the subject that she shows no interest in at all, so science projects are always a challenge for her. I'm glad that we found Ms. Katharine. She obviously is knowledgeable. My daughter only had 2 long lessons with her but already gave great compliments: patience, articulate, very up to date with current technology (study tools). Though Katharine's schedule is not as flexible as we wish it to be, we are happy that she takes her time doing tutorial consultations via emails and texts. My daughter is still currently finishing her science project with this tutor and highly recommend her to whoever needs help with science.

Katharine is tutoring my granddaughter Jordyn in handwriting. I tried to stay out of their way during the session but afterwards I asked Jordyn what she thought She liked Katharine and the methods she used to help her.
