I used Susan when my son was in 5th grade when he was struggling with math. She was great with him then and got him through the year with flying colors. After having a rough time this past school year with 8th grade math, I contacted Susan again to help prepare him for high school Algebra. We also discussed possible reading comprehension problems when she arrived for the first session. She adapted the tutoring sessions to cover both math and reading comprehension. She was able to identify his weaknesses and designed a plan to help. She has excellent communication with me after each session, explaining what they did, how he did on the material and what they will work on next session. Although my son is not particularly happy working on math during the summer, he does enjoy working with Susan and admits that the sessions are helping. I highly recommend Susan as she has been a tremendous help to my son and a pleasure to work with.
