I won a scholarship to do Summer Stock Theatre at the University of Southern Mississippi and went to college for that opportunity the day after I graduated from high school. I have participated in a number of school and community theatre productions and acquired a total of 12 quarter hours and 12 semester hours toward certification. As a teacher, I assisted with the theatre arts productions in all areas including technical theatre and dramatic interpretation.
