Effective and knowledgeable Special Education Teacher
I graduated with my Master's in Education for Special Education in 2011. I have also obtained my Bachelor's in Science for Psychology. I was in Nursing school for 2 years. I have plenty of knowledge in all nurse, science, and special needs related courses, psychology classes, and in general classes such as English and Math. ADD/ADHD
Not only did I go to school for Special Education, but I also have a daughter who has ADHD that I work with on a daily basis. I know ways to get and keep a child's attention during lessons and keep them focused on what they need to learn.
autism
I went to school for Special Education and I also have worked with autistic students. I helped them during class time and kept them going the right direction. I have also worked with autistic students throughout my subbing days within the school district. I was also fortunate to attend an autistic seminar last summer to learn the best strategies when working with them as well.
