I enjoy tutoring students with math and have tutored all different levels of of middle, high school, college and adult levels of math. I have a B.S. in Math from Penn State with an emphasis in Systems Analysis from Penn State and have worked as a computer Systems Analyst. I have two kids of my own in high school and at U of M. I enjoy helping students to grasp subjects that may have been difficult to understand in a classroom setting. Sometimes all they need is a little one-on-one help....

I have a love for learning and for helping students to love learning as well. I have two kids who are now in middle and high school and have tutored them in all subjects throughout their elementary years. I have also worked in with a group of 5th graders to help them to study for TCAP and have done one-on-one tutoring in elementary math as well.

Music has always been a big part of my life. I played clarinet all through middle and high school and have sung in choirs or choruses as well. But what I really enjoy most is playing piano, which I have done all my life. I love helping new students begin to understand music for the first time and to learn to play their own beautiful music.

Jenny was a great tutor! I was preparing for the GRE and I needed help with the math section. I chose Jenny because I read a very good review about her from a previous GRE taker. After I made my session, she asked me which GRE prep books I had, and she bought them so we would have the same materials. When I met with her, she was very patient and willing to explain the problems in more than one way if I needed. She was very good about staying in communication with me between sessions. I would email her with the problems I missed, and she would do those step by step and explain it to me more in depth. Overall, I had 4 sessions and I now have the confidence and understanding I need to take the test!

Jenny tutored me in math to prepare for the GRE and she was very helpful. I was very out of practice with math and she got me up to speed in a just a few sessions. Jenny is patient and will change her tutoring style to fit what works best for you. She did tons of research outside of our sessions to get extra practice tests and examples for me. She always had the problems worked out ahead of time for me and would go through each one with me at my pace. If you need help with any sort of math, Jenny is a great choice.
