Cynthia is an awesome tutor, she has helped my son become a better reader. She has helped build his confidence and he is now on the honor roll at school. I would recommend her to anyone.

Originally we sought out a tutor for my son as he was struggling with his school work in general. Lacking the confidence to complete his work, he began not doing it altogether. Cynthia has been instrumental in getting him back on track and helping him to have the confidence to keep trying. The extra one-on-one time, and having the opportunity to hear skills explained in a different way has improved his comprehension across the board, but especially in math. She has helped by pointing out ways that he can check himself, improve his organization, and practice the skills needed for mastery. His grades have improved dramatically, but more importantly...so has his confidence. After such a rough start to the year, (on top of years of struggling) hearing him tell me, "Mom, guess what! I'm one of the smart kids!" is priceless. He has surprised himself. I'm forever grateful for Cynthia's time and patience in helping him to get to this point. We will continue these lessons, as I believe that this time is essential for him to have a safe place to ask questions and have the individual attention and explanation of new concepts, along with the helpful organization and study skill reminders. Thank you, Cynthia!

She is an amazing tutor. I have seen my daughter grow her reading so much with her. My daughter has built confidence, which was a main struggle for me. Cynthia is really patient, easy to reach, and devote to help. Thank you for all you have done for my daughter Cynthia.

Mrs. Cynthia was great help. She showed me a strategy to help me improve my comprehension level. So far, it has been very helpful. She also proofread my research paper and found incorrect subject and verb agreement in it. All of the strategies and input that was given to me I used it in studying for upcoming exams. Mrs. Cynthia has excellent teaching skills and I was able to understand her teaching style.
