I have tutored students in primary school in a variety of subjects, from math to English to social studies. I particularly like working with K-6 students, since the subjects are usually basic enough for me to put my full attention into understanding the needs of the students and how best to communicate new concepts to them to help them understand the material, which is what the real function of a tutor is all about. I am very patient with young students who are struggling with concepts. I explain things in a variety of ways until the idea clicks for the student and starts to take root.

I would not recommend this tutor for the students who need to help for SAT program. This tutor can be good for a student who need a tutor to help after school about regular math and reading. But if you look for a tutor to teach the SAT program for your children, then this tutor just wastes your money. In my case, i have a sister, who just graduate from high school in the other country, so she completely know nothing about SAT, that is why i need a private, one to one tutor. But Paul does not have RESPONSIBILITY with his student, he is more like a sale guy just keeping his business as coming to see the student at the right time, sitting down, solving some math problem or reading problem if the student need until 2 hours class finish then submit the charge. He did not make a real SAT program to teach his student depend on the student's skill as we discussed. He is not specialize in SAT like he told me. I gave him more than 20 hours tutoring to found out that he was not a good tutor as i trust. For example, after 20 hours tutor, i did not see my sister to improve with the SAT, i asked Paul if he taught my sister how to study SAT on her own by doing practicing, or how to study specific SAT words. He told me ''I don't know. That was a good question.'' And told me there was a website that you can look after 24 hours tutor my sister. It's not worth to pay him 50$/hour. Beside that he is a friendly tutor, having good knowledge.
