While teaching in public school, I had day to day experience working with students who have special needs such as ADD//ADHD. I worked with the special education specialists at school to set up the appropriate accommodations and collaborated with teachers in other core subjects to help to provide the best education environment for students with special needs. I understand that students with ADD/ADHD may need more attention as well as patience and is willing to work with the students and families to fine tone the best approach for individualized learning in order to provide the ultimate challenges to motivate their success.
