I have taught for 7 years in public school. Subjects that I have taught span the curriculum: math, reading, writing, science, and social studies. A part of the math course that I have taught for 7 years includes algebraic principles. In the geometry that I tutor, algebra is a critical component. My goal in tutoring algebra, is to make the abstract become concrete by utilizing examples and pictures.

Geometry is a component of the math course that I have taught for 7 years. I also have experience tutoring geometry online using the virtual whiteboard and chat features. My approach to geometry is very visual, draw and label diagrams. This approach makes sense of the fancy theorems, postulates, and proofs.
