ADD/ADHD

I have taught special education for three years, and am certified in New York and Virginia to work with students with special needs. I have had multiple students on my caseload with ADHD. As a classroom teacher, I have worked with multiple students with ADHD. Much of my special education coursework was geared towards working with students with ADHD, and due to my experience with high-incidence special education students in general, and students with ADHD in particular, consider myself well-prepared to help students find success.

Aspergers

I have taught special education for three years, and am certified in New York and Virginia to work with students with special needs. I have had multiple students on my caseload who are on the Autism Spectrum. As a classroom teacher, I have worked with multiple students with Aspergers Syndrome. My summers spent working with students with Aspergers and High-Functioning Autism have also given me insight on ways to work with and reach these students.

David did a great job with my first grader. I was very happy with how the session went. He gave me tips on how to work with her better at home and made progress with her during the session. He seems experienced in working with children and we plan to continue with several more months of tutoring.
