Leona is an exceptional tutor. She worked with my son over the last few months to prepare him for the ASVAB. After an initial meeting, she developed a detailed plan for my son and went above and beyond to prepare him for his test. She met him often and was always prepared for the tutoring session. She was able to explain complex material clearly, and made subjects, previously difficult for my son, very understandable. Ms. R truly wants each student to excel at each subject. Great tutor! My Grades and test scores increased after the 2nd session. Leona has remarkable patience and relates well with me. I am a hands on learner and she gets that. Instead of her working out the problems on the white board herself she lets me due it so that she can see what I am doing wrong. She brings in extra worksheets from offline which helps me a lot. She continues to encourage me and gives my mom feedback after each session. My confidence has increased a great deal and I feel less stress when it comes to studying and taking test.
