Ms. Andrea...Supporter of Differences

Greetings, My name is Ms. Andrea and I am a special education teacher, currently out for summer vacation. I have worked in a local school system for 9 years. I have been a special education teacher for 9 years, certified in Intellectual disabilities for the past 6 years. Primarily I have been working with individuals living with autism. I have attended conferences in Richmond and Fairfax supporting Autism/Aspergers methods and research. Additionally, the county I teach in is supporting a cohort for additional training, narrowed more specifically in the spectrum and my master's thesis was heavily influenced by Aspergers and autism research and support methods.
