Data professional specializing in T-SQL

I've been the primary SQL expert at a software company with over 120 employees for a while now. I spend the majority of my time working in Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Excel. I've worked hard to hone my skills in those areas and I really enjoy sharing what I've learned with others. Many tutors advertise that they are capable of tutoring in dozens of subject, but I only tutor in SQL because that is the subject I consider myself an expert in. I know that you're time is valuable and it is...

As an analyst/developer, I spend the vast majority of my time either writing code or reading code. I mostly focus on the database (SQL) side. I write code in ASP.NET (MVC), C#, and JavaScript (with tons of JavaScript frameworks), HTML, & CSS. My current job involves quite a bit of testing/debugging in those languages.

I have no intentions of teaching anyone VB for use outside of Office products. I have created some serious applications with VBA. In fact, I've used VBA with SQL to make Excel a front-end application, retrieving its data from Access or an MS SQL Server database. I've taught a coworker how to use VBA to achieve particularly complex bits of work in Excel that were impossible or impractical without it. I even built an extraordinarily nerdy maze game in Excel with VBA, complete with lasers and destroyable objects!
