For the past three years, I have worked with students with ADD/ADHD. I used strategies that I learned through my education certification in PA and MD to help these students be successful academically and socially. In my training for education certification with my undergraduate degree, I took the class "Exceptionalities in Secondary Education" that provided strategies to help students with ADD/ADHD be successful.

As a teacher, I developed a strong rapport with students with autism due to my strategies to help them be successful, that a parent of a student with autism requested that her child was assigned to my classes each year since I taught multiple grades. The parents of students with autism were very pleased with the academic improvement their children made in my classroom.
