I was pleased with the tutoring service that Marlene L. provided because I was a senior in college and attending my last two classes required prior to graduation; I was struggling in Statistics, and I had a D average. Tutoring at my school was only offered once a week, and it was too far to drive. I was desperate for a tutor because I had to improve my grade in order to graduate. I contacted WyzAnt after searching a couple of other sites, and I sent a request to Marlene on a Sunday afternoon; she contacted me immediately, we discussed my need, set a tutoring schedule, and she began tutoring me the following week; Marlene is very knowledgeable in Statistics, and she is very patient because she always took the time to explain information that was not clear to me; she followed my textbook during instruction, but she also showed me other methods to help me grasp the information more easily. Marlene also adjusted her schedule a few times to accommodate my schedule. She genuinely cares about her students, which means a lot to me. My final grade in Statistics was a B, and I graduated and earned a Bachelors degree. I'm sure that I would have graduated, but I don't think I would have graduated on time if Marlene had not helped when she did.
