I am a retired medical doctor, having practiced family medicine for about three decades. Since retiring I have tutored small groups of junior high and high school students in the Puyallup AVID program. I have also tutored several students one on one in their homes. Haven is an excellent tutor. I am NOT very good at math, but he was able to explain and break the problems down so that I could better understand them. Haven was even able to show me some helpful problem-solving techniques not in the textbook or discussed in class. He even moved plans of his around to accommodate my work schedule, which I very much appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend Haven for his knowledge, supportive demeanor, and dedication to making sure you fully grasp the solution to the problem.
