Great tutor! Really love the way he tutors and carries out lessons. He did help me with two assignments and am really satisfied with the way he's helped! I think it would be great if he also did written lessons wherein he writes and explains a lesson instead of spending time online with you, but overall great tutor!

Joel S. from Arlington, TX

Mark is a great tutor. He started out with basic object-oriented programming concepts at a comfortable pace. Mark is able to describe difficult concepts in terms that I can easily relate to. Using Team Viewer and Skype is a great way for me to learn. I would prefer that rather than physically meeting at a location to study. By being able to share screens, I can open up my programs I have been working on in class and he can jump right in and help me from my screen. Once my semester started, he helped me review my in class material as well as homework assignments. I plan on keeping him as a tutor throughout the semester. 10/10!

Kimberly D. from Santa Rosa, CA

Mark is very good at teaching Java programming. The step by step processing is helping me understand the concepts in a clearer way. We cannot always get something to work on the first try, but we move on and come back to it when we have a better idea. In between sessions, I am able to practice adding on to my program and come back in the next session to further clear up my understanding.

Chris H. from Marietta, GA

Mark is such a great tutor! He knows the material and explains it at a great pace. I highly recommend him if you need a programming tutor. His method is very convenient and saves a lot of time.

Quincy O. from Antioch, TN

To say that Mr. Mark H is an exceptional tutor is an understatement!! He is the best tutor I have ever worked with!!! He is patient, understanding, and works with a person at his/her pace!! I recommend him every day of the week and twice on Sundays!!

Chris R. from Fredericksburg, VA

Mark was very understanding of my need I would recommend him to anyone that need tutoring in Java. I'm very happy that I chose him as my tutor.

Ed B. from Bothell, WA

Mark is responsive, extremely knowledgeable, and very efficient. He helped me through some very difficult technical problems and enhanced my general understanding of the underlying technologies. He is an excellent tutor!

Calvin K. from Richardson, TX

This was my first experience using an online tutoring source. I was a little skeptical because I wasn't sure how the tutor would be able to explain complex Java concepts remotely. After one session with Mark that has all been put to rest. With the use of various software applications and technology Mark is able to appear as if he is in the room next to me. He has a great personality and is very patient. This accompanied with his wealth of knowledge in various subject areas has made this a truly rewarding experience.

Lindsey H. from Sterling, VA

Mark is an amazing tutor! He knows his stuff and can explain it in a way that makes sense. He will ask you questions to make/help you think which ensures that you are learning the material. Mark is very positive and enthusiastic which helps make the tutoring process pleasant. His style of teaching online is VERY convenient since it saves time of not having to travel to meet.

Alyssa S. from Jackson, MS

Mark is extremely patient, very knowledgeable, and has a great sense of humor so the tutoring sessions are never boring. He takes the time to make sure his student understands the information. I'm more than satisfied with the help I've received and the skills I've picked up. I would definitely recommend Mark. He's one-of-a-kind!

Fred M. from Phoenix, AZ

I found Mark to be very knowledgeable and understanding in his teaching methods. It did not take a lot of overhead time for he can get up to speed.

JM L. from Madison, WI

Puts a lot of energy into his students to help them understand the programming content and how to apply the information. Uses examples to explain the content and works well with the technology to help with instruction. Very helpful - I am very much appreciative of the information that is shared. Thanks.

James F. from Newark, DE

Mark does an excellent job!! He is patient and knowledgeable. He can translate the pertinent facts easily. He is an awesome tutor and resource to be tapped!

Young L. from Arlington, TX

My sons are getting a better experience about introduction to programming. This course is beginning Java, but it can apply to any software languages.

Mark B. from Dallas, GA

Very helpful despite vague project instructions by the professor. Thank you for giving my son hope that he can one day embark on a career in computer programming, despite his disabilities. This current professor has a 90% fail rate but my son is now passing so far. Thanks for your patience with my son.

Aaron S. from Seattle, WA

I appreciate how Mark shows the small details that make my code easier to understand. His attention to detail and simplifying concepts is very helpful. His knowledge of Java/ OOPS is obvious. He is very accommodating to my schedule. I would highly recommend Mark for anyone needing help writing smart, clean, and readable code.

Reginald S. from Columbus, OH

Mark H. is a very knowledgeable and patient tutor. He takes his time to make sure the student understands the content. I had a hard time understanding some key concepts involved in my coursework. After a tutoring session with Mark H. I now have a firm grasp on those same concepts I struggled with.

Patrick C. from Walnut Creek, CA

Mark was extremely helpful in making sure my format in Python was correct. My homework worked after he informed me that Argument statement with argument print statement should not be indented by rather placed right under the argument statement.

Malik H. from Tucson, AZ

This was my second lesson with Mark, and I was just as impressed by his ability to help me to understand as I was after the first lesson. He answers all of your questions and explains things very thoroughly so that you can walk away feeling more confident in moving forward with your journey in Java. His method of remotely connecting to your machine and talking to you via Skype works very well. He is also responsive to tutoring requests and very efficient with his teaching methods during the lesson. So far, my favorite go to Java stud.

Shaemus L. from State College, PA

Mark was very straightforward when presenting the material to you. He ensures that you participate when writing code for the "hands on" experience. He's really knowledgable and knows his stuff -- highly recommend.

Omid N. from Beverly Hills, CA

Mark has a very smart way of teaching and implementing code. He is very clear, and very detail oriented. He answered all questions and concerns I had. I highly recommend Mark to anyone having trouble. A+++++

Isidro L. from Long Beach, CA

Mark is very knowledgeable and experienced in VB.net. We worked on an word association experiment that displayed various stimuli in a randomized and timed order. He helped me get the program up and running faster than I could ever have done so on my own! 6 stars!

Najeeb H. from Orlando, FL

Mark helped me with understanding Java langue, and paying more attention to detail when writing code. Most of all he is pushing me to learn.

James S. from Marietta, GA

Mark is a very capable and honest tutor. Knows everything about Java and how to teach it to students. He likes to work fast but doesn't mind slowing down to clarify concepts and answer questions.
