I have always had a strong passion for math and music and I love to share that passion with other students. I also try to develop a relationship with each student so that we can work as a team to find the best method of teaching for him or her. In the 2015-16 school year, I ... Read more

Trigonometry next to Algebra, is the next most important subject as a up and coming scientist. If one is going into science related mathematics, it is crucial that they fully understand trigonometry. If one can comprehend the theories in Trig it will make the latter classes, i.e. physics, calculus… so much easier to understand and approach. I have hundreds of hours of working with trigonometric functions and concepts. If this is a subject you seem to be struggling with, I will simplify it for you. Read more

I am a former NC math teacher that relocated to the Dallas area for a Ph.D. program in Education at a local university. I have previously taught high school math and math to ESOL students. Tutoring is fun because it allows teachers to actually obtain an individual understanding of how students learn. 1:1 Math tutor (k-12, SAT/ACT, GRE/GMAT, college level)
A little about me: I've been tutoring students in math since the age of 15 (I'm 28 years old). I have my teaching certification in math for grades 6-12. I worked at Texas Instruments for the past 4 years and I'm really passionate about explaining the thinking process/theory behind math concepts and not just steps to solve a problem. I love 1:1 tutoring more than classroom teaching because I get to tailor lesson plans to specifically fit the needs, interests, and learning style of ea... Read more
