Catherine is a patient, kind and caring tutor. She is dedicated to her craft and this is commendable. I am working on my doctorate and with Catherine's help, I have made significant progress. I appreciate her thoroughness and encouragement. She is an excellent tutor.

We have met with Catherine three times. I was looking for a tutor to help my son finish french 1 in middle school and get prepared for french 2 in high school. The first lesson she was 45 minutes late. The second lesson she was 17 minutes late. The third lesson she hasn't arrived yet but was set for 30 minutes ago. *Update* she emailed and canceled 30 minutes after the time when she was to arrive. Second, she charges for time she is not tutoring. After her first lesson she talked to me to give a review of how she thought my son was doing. This time was charged for. The second visit she was told we had to leave at 6 so we cut it short to a 45 minute lesson. She put that she left at '6:03' so she'd get an extra 5 minutes of pay. She also asked if I wanted her to 'go over' what they had done during their lesson. Considering she was late showing up, it was time to leave to get my son to his recital AND she would charge to give a review, I kindly said no. I feel when you request an hour lesson, you should be expected to pay for an hour lesson. If it's a 45 minute lesson you shouldn't put an extra 3 minutes in the timer for the time it took for her to get out the door. I feel I gave this tutor every chance and few people would have given her a 3rd chance after the first two incidents. My son enjoyed working with her but I can't condone working with someone who cannot be punctual.

More than just a tutor. Catherine helped my daughter complete a French correspondence course for high school. I would highly recommend Catherine for any French language needs

Given my difficulties with learning foreign languages I found that Ms. Catherine's instruction was valuable and put me on the right path to get what I need out of the instruction. Her technique is based not on what she thinks the student should learn but more on what the student needs to learn with respect to their abilities. She is proving to be an amazing instructor.

Works with my son on his level. My son enjoys working with Catherine. Studying French is not a chore he is really enjoying it now.
