Changing Attitudes from I can't to I can

I'm an excellent speller. In grade school my teachers would give a list of spelling words to study on an weekly basis and were given a quiz the following day. On my quizzes/tests I made all A's and my strategies were to use letters as objects/things/and names (for example, s as in Sam) or I would learn how to spell words by some type of rhythm in my head. Some of my classmates knew this skill of mine and asked me to spell words for them and even today with some of my peers and family. Read more
